ALTON

Alton Bay Public Launch

It is located at the corner of Route 11 and 28A.
The facility includes an existing boat launch with paved parking for vehicles with trailers, as well as a handful of cartop parking spaces.
The site includes two buildings and several docks that will allow for excellent shorebank fishing opportunities, particularly during the spring salmon season.  Public parking for trailers about 1/2 mile away.

Downing's Landing

From the Alton traffic circle, proceed 5 1/2 miles towards Wolfeboro on Rte 28.Turn left onto Roberts Cove Road. The public boat launch and parking area in Alton Bay is Downing’s Landing.  It also offers gas. Downing’s Landing boat ramp is located on Rt. 11 at the very Southern tip of Alton Bay at Lake Winnipesaukee. Fee charged unknown

Roberts Cove Marina

28 Basin Rd, Alton, NH 03809 At the junction of Route 11 and Route 11- Launch – $20.00 for boats and jet skis, up to two watercraft per trailer; $10.00 for hand launch of canoes and kayaks. Launch fee includes putting in, taking out and parking for 1 vehicle for 1 day. We have a soda machine, ice cream, and bathroom facilities. We do not rent boats. We do not take Credit Cards.

West Alton Marina

35 W Alton Marina Rd, Alton Bay, NH – Our launch ramp is open to the public 24/7.   If the gate house is unattended please use the form located  to the left of the door.  The completed form and cash can be slid thru the mail slot in the door.  Includes one vehicle with trailer. $40.00 daily.
You can have your boat’s holding tank(s) pumped right at our fuel dock.  $5 with fuel purchase or $10 without.

CENTER HARBOR

Downtown Center Harbor
There is a $15.00 launch fee at the Center Harbor Boat Ramp at the Town Docks for non-residents.  NO OVERNIGHT PARKING OR DOCKING
Only Center Harbor residents and taxpayers may launch for free.  Proof of identification is required with a physical street address.  Post Office addesses are NOT accepted.

GILFORD

Fay's Boat Yard

Gilford – On Route 11B, 1/2 mile northwest of junction 11B/11.  Turn left onto Varney Point Road. Fee charged (Parking included).
Seasonal and Temporary Boat Slips, Dry Storage for boats on trailers, and Winter Storage are available. A Gas Dock, Seasonal Rentals, a Public Mooring field, and Lake Services round out more services we provide. Depending on the time of year we will be fishing for Salmon, Rainbow Trout, Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass.  We welcome all boaters!

Silver Sands Marina

630 Weirs Blvd, Weirs Beach (603) 366-4378 Weirs Boulevard, 1 1/4 miles south of the Weirs Bridge on the east side of Paugus Bay. Silver Sands is a family place to vacation, launch your boat, or both! We are built on our reputation as the friendly pink motel and have been here for families from generation to generation.

MEREDITH

Meredith Public Docks

Lovejoy Sands Road North on Route 25/ 2/10 mile from downtown Meredith, turn right onto Pleasant Street as it curves around Meredith Bay. Follow Pleasant Street to Meredith Neck Road. Turn right. Follow for 3 miles and turn left onto Lovejoy Sands Road. Launch is next to Shep Brown’s Boat Basin. There is no trailer parking allowed on the paved municipal parking lot located adjacent to Shep Brown’s but trailer parking is allowed at the municipal lot located on Lovejoy Sands Road. $20 fee to be paid for boat launch during the hours of enforcement.
There are also Public Boat Docks located at Cattle Landing. The Cattle Landing Docks also have a 3 hour docking limit and no boat trailers are to be parked in the vehicle parking lot.

Meredith Public Docks

2 Bay Shore Drive. Just off Route 3 on the right between Route 104 and Route 25. Fee charged. A boat launch attendant will be responsible for collecting fees at the Hesky Park Boat Ramp located at 291 Daniel Webster Hwy; attendant hours are 7am to 3am, 7 days/week.Shep Brown’s will be collecting launch fees for the Public boat launch, located at 31 Lovejoy Sands Rd, on behalf of the Town; collection will be 7 days/week.

Shep Brown's Boat Basin

Turn right onto Moultonboro Neck Road from Route 25. Proceed 6 2/10 miles south/east on Moultonboro Neck Road and cross onto Long Island. Launch site is on the left 2/10 mile after crossing bridge. A boat launch attendant will be responsible for collecting fees at the Hesky Park Boat Ramp located at 291 Daniel Webster Hwy; attendant hours are 7am to 3am, 7 days/week.Shep Brown’s will be collecting launch fees for the Public boat launch, located at 31 Lovejoy Sands Rd, on behalf of the Town; collection will be 7 days/week.

Moultonborough Public Launch

The Town of Moultonborough offers  three boat launching area locations
Long Island, From Route 25 and Moultonboro Neck Road, proceed 6 2/10 miles south/east on Moultonboro Neck Road and cross onto Long Island. After crossing bridge, proceed 2 2/10 miles on Long Island Road.
Long Island – Public docks are available (2 hour limit) across from the beach. No boat trailer parking is permitted at the facility. Trailers must be parked at the Moultonborough Neck Fire Station.
States Landing – located at the end of States Landing Road. No docks available. No lifeguards on duty.
Lee’s Mills – is located at the end of Lee’s Mill Road. It is an environmentally sensitive area, as its neighbors are the Loon Center and land owned by the Audubon Society. Public docks are available (2 hour limit). This area is not operated as a swim area and swimming is strongly discouraged.

From Moultonborough Center, proceed 4/10 mile south on Route 25. Turn Left onto Blake Road. At end of Blake Road, turn right onto Lee’s Mills Road and proceed to end.

States Landing - Moultonborough

States Landing – located at the end of States Landing Road. No docks available. No lifeguards on duty.

TUFTONBORO

Melvin Village Public Landing

Opposite the Libby Museum on Route 109, 3 1/10 miles northwest of Wolfeboro. No fee charged. No parking.

Goodhue & Hawkins Navy Yard Sewell Road, Wolfeboro. From downtown Wolfeboro, head west on Route 109 for 2/10 mile. Turn left onto Sewell Road and proceed for 1 mile.

WOLFEBORO

Libby Museum

Bay Street, Wolfeboro. In downtown Wolfeboro, go one block north (away from the main lake) on Railroad Avenue. Launch site is behind the old Wolfeboro railroad terminal. No fee charged. Parking available. Note: to get to the Big Lake you must travel under a bridge with a clearance of only a little over four feet (full lake).

Back Bay Marina

Main Street 21 Railroad Ave, Wolfeboro, NH  –  behind the old Wolfeboro railroad terminal. Access to the lake requires passage below a bridge with a clearance of 4.2 feet. Free.
