February 15 through 22 is the Annual Winter Carnivals in the Lake Winnipesaukee region of NH!
This Winter in NH and this year with Covid is always unpredictable and though we try and list Only current events we do keep our information current as possible in advance of the events. As always, we appreciate everyone who visits our website and love the visitors to our beautiful Lakes Region! Winter Carnival events in the lakes region on Lake Winnipesaukee will be held February – 15 thru 22nd 2021. The events held on the ice include Wolfeboro harbor, Alton Bay, Abenaki Ski Area, Pop Whalen Ice Arena and anything in between. Visit Lake Winnipesaukee this February and have a blast in winter! Wolfeboro Bay Winter Carnival: Winter Wonderland
WHEN: February 15 – 22, 2021
Events are held throughout Wolfeboro including Abenaki Ski Area Pop Whalen Ice Arena Wolfeboro Inn (Check links info for Cacellations due to Covid Pandemic) Ice skating, snowshoeing, sleigh rides, animal tracking, fire building, inflatable obstacle course competition, pancake breakfast as well as ski and snowboard races.

Three ice bars, two bands each night. Fire dancing performances by Mikhol Mars and Brigid Sinclair. Town car transportation to and from in-town lodging and other locations is available.

Alton Bay Winter Carnival: Winter Dreaming

The weekend and week are filled with excitement from ice fishing, snowmobile races, ice boats, and skating! While you’re here enjoying the great frozen lake, enjoy hearty homemade meals at the many restaurants here. If you’re a winter hiker and snowshoeing then Mount Major in Alton Bay is a popular winter destination. (Micro Spikes “A Must” and Experience in Frigid weather advised) The view from the summit of the frozen tundra from Meredith to Alton is an incredible sight to see.
