Description: George's Diner was opened by its present owners Roger and Robin Rist in May of 1991. Our basic philosophy that fresh and simple ingredients make the best meals possible lead us to our motto, Just Good Food.
We enjoy our long term relationships with employees and customers. The staff strives for quality and consistency in the preparation and serving of our home cooked food.
Whether it be our made to order breakfasts, quick turn around lunch specials or our more leisurely dinner specials followed by our homemade desserts, we hope you enjoy your meal.

Walter's Basin
Description: Walter's Basin is the only restaurant on the waterfront of Squam Lake, in Holderness, New Hampshire.
The Basshole Lounge seats about fifty persons, with great waterfront ambiance as guests watch the boats in fair weather and the snowmobiles in cold weather.
Many guests in summer like to sit along the canal windows and watch the parade of boats traversing from Big Squam Lake to Little Squam Lake. With the windows open and a breeze flowing through the lounge, it's a great break from a hectic or relaxed day, to enjoy a drink and casual food.

Ames Farm Inn
Description: Ames Farm Inn, on the shore of Lake Winnipesaukee, was established in 1890 by James Noah Ames, on land that had been owned by his grandfather, a pioneer settler of Gilford. It has been in the Ames family ever since.
Ames Farm Inn is situated on three hundred acres of lakeshore, field, and mountain woodland. We offer rooms, housekeeping apartments, and lakeshore cabins. A spacious dining room provides two meals a day with delicious homestyle cooking.
