Center Harbor
Chamberlain-Reynolds Memorial Forest
Scenery includes a lakeside forest. Squam Lake is regarded as a special place. The lake is one of the most pristine in New England. The riding in this 159-acre tract of forest varies from easy woods roads to gnarly narrow trails, and the forest is small enough that anyone can slog through the tricky parts and not have to worry about stranding themselves in the wilderness. Located just off Rt. 3 in Center Harbor.

Hamlin Recreation and Conservation Area
Located on Chemung Road, Meredith Center. This park is a 310 acre natural area, 6 miles of maintained trails for hiking, biking, snow shoeing and cross country skiing. In addition to beautiful views, it features rare plant and tree species.
Waukewan Highlands
Located off Parade Road, Route 106. 190 acre managed forest, 3 miles of trails maintained for hiking, jogging, mountain biking, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, and horseback riding. Also includes an interpretive trail. Hart's Pond is the centerpiece of the area and once served as Meredith's reservoir.
Moultonborough
Markus Audubon Wildlife Sanctuary Just off Rt. 25 Walking trails where one can observe nesting loons. This sanctuary is located at the Loon Preservation Committee center.
